Our Impact

At Interactionz, equity is not just a principle; it is a foundational pillar that informs our strategies and actions. We are committed to aligning our efforts with our core values, which emphasise the importance of respecting each individual and actively promoting the wellbeing of our community as a whole. This dedication involves not only listening to the voices of underrepresented and marginalised groups, but also advocating strongly for their needs. We strive to create an environment that is open and accessible to everyone, ensuring that each person feels valued and included.

Our former Board Chair, Tegan Morris (1987–2021), was a remarkable source of inspiration. She demonstrated what can be accomplished when we build meaningful relationships and provide the right support for one another to thrive and realise our potential. Tegan viewed herself as a multi-faceted gemstone, possibly a ruby or garnet, that her parents launched into the world with hope and encouragement. Like a stone skipping across the surface of water, she made ripples in the lives of those she encountered. These ripples spread outward, intersecting with others and creating a complex network of meaningful connections that enhanced the lives of many.

This imagery reflects the profound impact Tegan had, creating numerous ripples and nurturing countless connections. We must be mindful that our interactions influence the broader community, and that each positive interaction has the power to contribute to making the world a better place.

We have proudly launched The Ripple Effect initiative to acknowledge and celebrate the impact our positive interactions have as part of our collective journey toward fostering a more equitable and connected community.
