“We were facing into a particularly challenging Long Term Plan Amendment, where we were proposing significant changes to our rating model and major investment in our three waters infrastructure. For the first time we were trialling the concept of Citizens Panels, bringing our community in to workshop our challenges, brainstorm and identify the key priorities from both a community and a council’s perspective.
