Magical Bridge Playground

Resources designed for the Kindness Ambassador Programme in conjunction with Te Pūkenga Occupational Therapist students.

The Magical Bridge playground at Claudelands Park, designed and developed by Hamilton’s Magical Bridge Trust, has been a resounding success. There was a 600% increase in patronage compared to the old playground, and people travelled from far and wide to visit. The disabled community finally had a place to play in an inclusive and accessible playground. The $4m construction and the community engagement have been in no small part due to the sponsors, supporters and local businesses who offered their services heavily discounted or pro bono. Interactionz was one of those supporters.

When Wintec’s Occupational Therapy programme wanted to partner with us to provide their third-year students with a community project, some graphic design work was needed. Interactionz came to the party. They worked with the Wintec students to create a brochure and presentation that beautifully reflected the features and benefits of the playground from a visitor perspective, and that met the needs of the Occupational Therapy students.

Thank you Interactionz for being so community minded and willing to partner with Wintec and the Trust.
